It might be quiet – but here on The Buff nobody is going to shut us up!

In sort: Chips are good for you, and Henry just doesn’t like onions.

Two of the things you will learn by listening to this week’s Buff Podcast, which very definitely wasn’t recorded a week earlier than advertised.

We’ll be awarding the Buffs for 2022/23, recognising the areas of the game that have not been covered by the main club awards, with all their glitz, glamour and sparkly lights.

Who was Wanderers’ best interviewee? Who improved in front of the press box the most?

Which player caused folk in the press box to tear up? And which player has tidied his hair the most?

We pick the game and goal which brought about the most incredible ‘limbs’ from the crowd – a phrase that was coined at Wrexham in 1988 by the way – and what opposition player impressed us the most.

On top of that, we’ll go player-by-player down the while Wanderers squad to assess how well they have done. We pick a unique scoring method but hopefully you get our gist.

Why wasn’t Henry talking about contemporaneous events, you might ask? Perhaps he just didn’t want to… We’ll never know.
