At the gymnasium, Dr. Mel stumbles onto a concerning sign that the infection may be spreading, and Agent Warrick enacts a risky plan from on high. Meanwhile, in the alley by the gun store, the fight with the creature escalates.

The agents separate to cover as much ground as possible in their hunt. While Officer Wiley, Agent Conroy, and Dr. Novak scramble to find firearms, Agent Warrick and Dr. Mel find a deadly threat biding its time at the gymnasium.
