Christ’s last days on earth are recounted in Auckland Choral’s opening concert of 2017. Bach’s St John Passion takes centre stage, with favourite Auckland Baritone Barry Mora playing the son of God. Others featuring this weekend include Christopher Bowen, soprano Marlena Devoe, mezzo-soprano Sarah Court, Netherlands-based Australian Baritone David Greco, Australian tenor Henry Choo, and Pipers Sinfonia conducted by Uwe Grodd.
