Listen Later

In this episode, I discuss the importance of honoring and appreciating our past selves. We often focus on moving forward and forget about the person we used to be - but that person is still a part of us, and their experiences have shaped who we are today. By acknowledging and respecting our past selves, we can find the strength to push through difficult times and keep moving forward.

Remembering Our Childhood Selves

We all have a child inside us that still needs love and support. When was the last time you looked back at your childhood self and considered how they would feel about who you are today? In today's episode I talk about the importance of remembering the dreams and fears we had as children.

Holding onto Bitterness

Sometimes, we hold onto bitterness from past experiences that shape how we view ourselves today. Let's explore how holding onto these negative feelings can hold us back from achieving our goals and finding happiness.

Moving Forward with Appreciation

By honoring our past selves, even the parts that were difficult or challenging, we can find the strength to move forward with appreciation for where we've been and excitement for where we're going. Let go of bitterness and embrace gratitude for all parts of ourselves.

Learning from History

By examining our past experiences, we can look for patterns that have been holding us back. From there, we explore ways to break these patterns so we can finally move on.

Remembering our past selves is an important part of personal growth. By showing love and appreciation for who we used to be, even during difficult times, we can find the strength to keep moving forward towards a brighter future.
