Mike Valdes is a Standup Comedian, Actor, Musician and podcast host. He does it all! His podcast Childlike at Best was just featured in Vulture! We talk about being multi faceted and multi talented and the ups and downs of that. we talk about comedy and following your dreams, and making sure that younger version of yourself is happy with seeing the person you've become. Mike shares stories from the world of acting and being a musician. Since Mike loves Piano he wanted to make a playlist of songs with great Piano Riffs and we got super into it. In this Epiosde I got to talk with Jennifer Giralo. Shes a Improv comedian and is journeying into the world of Standup. Our conversation begins with Standup and writing methods. We then talk about or former years as Emo kids and what it meant to us at the time. looking back now in our 30s and revisiting lyrics and bands with a different perscpective. we get deep and talk about media and music and how it portrays love and heartbreak and how it can sometimes be in a toxic way. And then we made a killer Emo playlist full of nostalgia and fun and I even give Jennifer a couple things she may have never heard. This episode was a blast and i hope you enjoy!

In this episode I talked with a NY based Ska band Stop the Presses. we talk about growing up in south Florida and how the band was formed, going to shows and we talk about the band moving to New York. We then talk about the relationship/band balance and how being with someone who has similar taste to you is the best. and then we made a killer ska playlist! This is a 2 part episode combined into one. Kevin Benoit comes back to Playlists with People as my first ever return guest! we were going to do a 2020 recap, but after talking we decided that this was the year of Griselda. This label and these artists deserved a full episode and 2020 was an amazing year for them. This episode is full of funny moments and the second half is a ton of video game talk and random nonsense but we laughed so hard and it got goofy and stupid for a podcast about hard street rap. Merry Christmas Happy Holidays, I've been relaxing and in super holiday mode lately sorry for the lack of episodes but after the new Year I'm gonna get back to cranking them out.
