This will be my PlayStation State of Play 2024 reaction along with considering that there was no first party studios or games. It definitely felt like Stellar Blade and Death Stranding 2 stole the show, but also great showings from Helldivers 2, Silent Hill 2, and a new Kojima game that sounds a lot like MGS.

But where are all the first party PlayStation Studios and games? And does it matter that they had zero presence at the State of Play? Let's discuss it in my State of Play reaction today.

The first State of Play of 2024 was over 40 minutes long, and featured guest appearances from some of the most talented minds in gaming. Among many other updates, we'll feature extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, two great games coming to PS5 this year. And we'll give you a new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond.
