So we are having some electrical work done at our house this morning. Our doorbell rings, and who is at the door? One of the leaders of my youth group! That moment of relief when you see a friendly face. We didn't know it was them when we booked the appointment.

They set up a LAN party for us once during a lock-in. They've been someone I've gone to for advice in my youth. It is surprises like those that are great to get. Sometimes you never realize the impact someone had on you. You might grow apart from them for a season, but when they show up at your door, it is a pleasant surprise!
