A Pharmacist Offers A New Perspective On Pharmaceuticals (ft. Dr. Lynn Lafferty)

In this episode Dr. Ben welcomes back popular guest Gerald Posner, author of thirteen acclaimed books. The New York Times said his latest book (2020), PHARMA, was “a withering and encyclopedic indictment of a drug industry that often seems to prioritize profits over patients…[it] reads like a pharmaceutical version of cops and robbers." Posner was one of the youngest attorneys (23) ever hired by Cravath, Swaine & Moore. A Political Science major, he was a Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where he was also a national debating champion. His wife, author, Trisha Posner, works with him on all projects.

In this episode Dr. Ben welcomes Chelsea Blackbird. After hitting dead ends in the medical system for her digestive issues, genetic skin condition and infertility, she desperately searched for answers and discovered the power of real food.  She overcame my digestive problems, her skin condition (after doctors said there was nothing more they could do) and got pregnant in 6 weeks after trying for over a year.  A few years and three kids later, she decided to go back to school to understand how real food did that!
