We're at the point of begging for wins on the Maroon Mic. Baseball got it done against Samford in the midweek, but that's not going to appease the fanbase after an 0-6 start to SEC play. Now State faces a top-10 Gamecocks team that's absolutely smashing the ball. Not exactly what you want to see when you're desperate to get a conference win. It won't be much easier for Softball, either, as they host their own top-10 opponent in Arkansas. Maybe this sports weekend is better?
