The movie Chariots of Fire is based on the true story of British runners in the 1924 Olympics.  One runner refused to run the race he had prepared for because the race was scheduled for a Sunday.  Instead he ran a different race that he hadn't prepared for, and won the gold.  He felt a calling to run because "God made him fast" and he sought to please God with his efforts.

God has made each of us with a purpose - to please Him.  Today Pastor Sam will show us from Colossians 1:9-12, three specific things we can do to please God.
