Throughout our everyday life, whether or not we realize it or not, we're constantly "encouraged" to feel like certain things are unbecoming of who we are as people. Some say that a man should never cry, while others argue that women have no place in technology; all horrible things that deny us of what our true passions are, and force us into a life of questioning because we're appeasing someone else rather than ourselves. And that's what I hope to break with you today, as we go through why it's perfectly fine to explore new activities, be more open with ourselves, and challenge the expectations others have placed upon us. Because only when we start listening to ourselves do we truly begin to live, and can we help others do the same.
