69-year-old Mele Katoa from Tatakamotonga village in Tongatapu who has been selling her unique Tongan handicrafts across Wellington markets for a number of years.

For 30 years she has been selling and teaching up to 4 generations of their community the traditional step by step process of making Tongan tapa in NZ. Materials are bought in from Tonga and crafted in NZ by Mele. live interview with John
