The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recently updated the pneumococcal vaccination recommendations and guidelines to include two newly approved vaccines. The updated guidelines provide a more streamlined method for patients across age and risk groups.
