We pose some crucial questions and make some difficult considerations this week as we approach the polarized and charged topic of whether everyone who voted for Trump in this presidential election is racist. We focus on people of color specifically as we present our thoughts and perspectives on the following questions: As a person of color, does it take a level of privilege to be able to vote in support of the collective versus your own personal interests? It surely takes a level of sacrifice, but does it take a level of privilege to commit in action to the idea that our liberation is intertwined? Or, does it just take courage based on the idea that everyone has something to lose? Tune in for a hard, but ultimately, gracious and important conversation about what happens to humanity when we write one another off without listening, first.
