Alan Turing had profound significance for the emerging science of computing. He lived in a hotbed of codebreakers who stopped Hitler in his tracks by hacking the Enigma code.  He is the father of AI.  He also had a theory about Monopoly.   He was fascinated by data patterns and algorithms and he was convinced that there was a code-based tactic to playing and winning.  If you have a mobile phone, you hold a piece of Alan in your hand. 

The people that time forgot is a weekly crusade podcast by Irish team Aisling Hurley and Niamh Quinn. Throughout history people have been written off, written out or just plain forgotten.
