The trade deadline was a wild one this year, and Justin and Yoni are back to discuss it.
The deadline obviously will have a great impact on how the last two months of the MLB season will go, but what teams did better than others?
We also discuss the teams that did better to set up their future as the deadline is not just for competitors this year, but also for teams that hope to be competitors in the next couple years. Some teams did much better than others in that regard.

If you haven't lived under a rock than you have undoubtedly seen or heard of the situation surrounding Trevor Bauer. We are still waiting on further news and information, but this is topic that needed to be addressed. It is a tricky situation, and a sad one and we just hope that the right decisions are made moving forward for all parties involved.
On the baseball side of things we will go division by division and give our answers to this months buy or sell. We like to start off every month by doing so, and this month is especially important as we: reach the midway point, have the all-star break and approach the trade deadline. The next few weeks will be very telling as to how the rest of the season will go.
Stay tuned at the end of the episode to hear the entirety of "Lucky 27s" by Isaac LeSage which is of course our theme song. Isaac is incredibly talented and we are very much appreciative of him allowing us to use his music.

Another busy week in Baseball, and lots to discuss. This week saw the start of pitchers being checked for foreign substances, but the biggest story of the week comes from the College World Series. NC State was having a dream season, and was one win away from their first ever appearance in the championship series when things fell apart. Playing with half their roster on Friday and then being eliminated Saturday do to a 'no-contest' was tough to watch unfold. Tune in to hear us discuss what happened.
It is also the NL's turn as well look into how the league is looking right now. We are two weeks from the All-Star break and their is not much clarity in the NL as all three divisions look to be wide open. Last week we saw how easy it is to look ahead at the American League, this week we see how difficult it is to predict anything in the National League.
We are in for a wild ride as we reach the halfway point of the season. Subscribe and stay with us as we follow along week to week.

If you don't know yet about the sticky situation MLB has found itself in then you must not be paying attention. The use of "Foreign Substances" is not new, and even now it is unlikely to completely go away; however, MLB has no choice but to react to it. Listen in as Justin and Yoni discuss this issue and what it may lead to moving forward.
In this episode we also give an update on where the AL is at right now just past the mid-point of June. We are nearing the heart of the season, and things can get real interesting here soon. What can American League teams do to consider their season a success? Listen in as we discuss.
