Pod #48: The Importance of Last Place

We live in a world that rewards excellence and in many ways that's a good thing. I'm a firm believer in striving for doing your best. But we all too often get caught up in comparing our best to someone else's best and those can look very different.

Today I talk about how maybe instead of focusing so much on being the best in comparison to others, we should really focus on showing up. Far too many of us don't show up in our lives and I think that's where the real tragedy and loss occur. We need to be engaged, striving, and moving forward constantly - even if that means we come in last place.
