In this episode, we are honoured to welcome Alexandra Peters, who is the Scientific Lead for Clean Hospitals, a global network committed to enhancing healthcare safety through improved environmental hygiene.

She is currently based at the University Hospitals of Geneva Infection Control Program and works closely with the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Center on Infection Prevention and Control and Antimicrobial Resistance. She is on the future stars of IPC.

Alexandra holds a PhD in Biomedical Science with a focus on Global Health, and an MA in Science and Security. Her extensive expertise spans healthcare environmental hygiene, hand hygiene, and health security, making her a pivotal figure in the global fight against healthcare-associated infections.
