Researchers at the University of Michigan created 2-factor voice authentication by creating a wearable device like a necklace, earbuds or eyeglass attachment that runs software called VAuth It continuously registers speech-induced vibrations on the user’s body, then pairs them with the audio, providing verification of the person’s identity.
