In my last podcast, I addressed the areas of contentment and carelessness; two areas we all experience in our lives. The former can haunt you when you start comparing yourself (who you are, what you are and what you have) to others; not doing this will help us become more content with who we are and what we have. The latter can shed negative light on us if we are not careful in what we write and speak.
This podcast is probably the most important one in my series of 34 holistic topics: living a healthy lifestyle. Science and technology have enabled the typical American to live longer than our parents or ancestors, but our lifestyle has negatively affected us so that our “golden years” are not so golden after all. The majority of older Americans suffer from years of a poor diet, lack of exercise and other bad habits that have affected how we live. Many of the major diseases may have been avoided if we had a mindset in our youth to stay healthy. This podcast is provided to educate new grads on the positive impact of leading a healthy lifestyle and an attempt to motivate you to commence doing this right now and continue to do it for years to come.
