Where have we been and where are we going?

2 Corinthians 1:3-7 – God’s comfort in Christ compels us to comfort others.

2 Corinthians 4-5:10 – God’s all surpassing power at work in us through Christ in these ‘jars of clay’ puts God on display!

This week: 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 God’s reconciliation through Christ compels us to be reconciled to God and to others. Are you noticing a theme? What God has done through Jesus in reconciling us to God compels us to a life of reconciliation with others. It all hinges on what God has done: “God made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us.”

Have you been reconciled to God in Jesus name and power? If you have been reconciled to God, are you engaged in reconciliation with others? All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has made a way!
