Podcast 21 "Blessings in the Unseen"
Welcome to this week’s “In the Little things” podcast. We hope that this week you are able to see the little things in life that we sometimes don't recognize or appreciate because of our busy schedules. I know that we have mentioned our busy mommy, wife, and family busyness before but as we take our journey together, let us focus more on how God has designed our lives to be lived by appreciating His design In the Little Things we can do for our all better well-being. This week's "True Stories" should inspire you and hopefully help us to see God in the unseen blessings that we sometimes need in the daily walk with Him!
Scripture:
(Genesis 21: 22) “At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do!”
(You can read all of 2 Corinthians chapter4) “As we look not to the things that are seen but to the thing that are unseen. For the thing that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal!”
(You can read all of 2 Kings chapter 6) “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are MORE than those who are with them! Then Elisha prayed and said, 'O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.' So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha!”
(Hebrews 11: 7) When Noah builds the Ark based on unseen events and faith in God's calling… “By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith!”
Application: Are you you putting your faith in the seen or unseen? Know that we have so more access to the promises of God that are still unseen. Just like when we go to the beach, or go for a long walk in the heat of the sun; God is with us to refresh us with unseen blessings. We just need to ask him for a revelation of his mercy and grace, in whatever we are walking through! Immersing ourselves in His promises, we can apply his blessings to our every day lives! “Seek Him and you shall find Him!”
Devotional Insight:
God wants and desires to reveal Himself to you, wherever you are! His heart's desire is to walk beside you, talk with you, and share His love with you! After all that is what He did with Adam, in the garden of Eden, before our fall! He wants to delight in YOU so much that He will even use the unseen to display His faithfulness to YOU!
Challenge: So this week's challenge is quite simple. Do not dismiss the unseen. Do not limit God's love and power, only to what you know and see but instead search for His presence in your everyday and ask Him to reveal Himself to you, even in a breeze, or event, sign on a car, or even in a dream. Search and Seek Him! Just like a child who plays Hide and Seek… Ask God to reveal where He is and ask Him to walk beside you! LET HIM REFRESH YOU THIS WEEK!
Guided Prayer: Lord God, We come to you and seek You! Thank you for the unseen miracles in our lives. You are the Orchestrator of all things GOOD! Let us not take for granted all the unseen blessings in our lives but always acknowledge Your love for us, even in the unseen realm. Let our lives filled with moments of revelation of Your truth and love for us!In Jesus Christ name, Amen!
