“You are an Ironman!” There’s something special about hearing those words come out of Mike Reilly’s mouth. At many points during her race, Danielle Rosvally wasn’t sure she was going to hear them. There were the hills on Duplessis, the bike cutoff, the unforeseen challenges on the run, and the troubling lack of Goldfish. All of this didn’t deter her from doing one thing – keep moving forward.

And move forward she did, despite Ironman’s tracker system predicting a finish over 15-minutes past midnight. At some point, with angels at her back (quite literally) she dug deep and decided to find out what she was made of, which resulted in quite an incredible story.
