After three podcasts in a row with some of the most fascinating guests, I’m back! We’ve been livestreaming our morning workouts and working our way through Zwift’s 6-week Beginner FTP-Booster program. So far, so good, with only a few minor hiccups.
In addition, Matt Schorer (Follow the Fat Guy to Ironman Kona) talked me into trying out Intermittent Fasting. I gave it a solid week and the results were pretty good. I did lose weight, but felt I lost some energy on some workouts. So, I’m adjusting it, adapting to my schedule and training needs, and continuing on with many of the core concepts. I can train all I want, but the fact of the matter is that the best way for me to get faster is to drop weight!
