Boxing is one of the main forms of self defense that I feel people should be familiar with. That is because every fight starts with 2 people standing so you should know at least how to throw a proper punch. On the show today we have someone who threw punches better than most.
Ruben T"he Modern Warrior" Galvan. Ruben Galvan has fought on HBO, PPV, ESPN and Showtime, in places like the MGM Grand versus opponents like Caesar Chavez Jr. (19-0), Zab Judah (34-4), Marty Jakubowski (111-6). He was a great fighter and now he talks with us about his life boxing.
We also talk about some of the outside influences in his life and how they affected his career. Many times we see the outside life of someone you see on TV. Maybe it's a moment of triumph and think that its normal for things just to go right for people. For some that's true but it isn't always the case.
