A good week in the books so far. It seems like February is moving right along, and that may be a good thing for some of the weather we are having. Sometimes impediments in training happen and you just need to figure out how to get back on track.
With a solid week of work in already, I have a big weekend ahead. Looking for 2 hours and 15 mins on the bike tomorrow starting at 7AM, followed by my first 10-miler in over a year. My running has been on-point for a few months now, and I’m anxious to wade into 10+ mile territory and really start banking those training miles. I know I got this distance… I just need to make it happen.
Recent news about former NFL player Vincent Jackson really had me shook up lately. When things like this happen, I can’t help but wonder if post-athletic depression is involved. I share some thoughts on this today, off the top of my head. Hope it all made sense.
