The week was off to a great start with the launch of our new nonprofit, The Ordinary Marathoner Foundation. Our launch raised over $2700 for the Foundation and will go a long way to getting our planned programs off the ground and running! (Get it? Running?)

The past few days have been exciting and surprisingly emotional as we transition from the creation of the foundation, to the operation of the foundation. The pressure is dialed up, and I know we will respond.

Though we’ve been pressingly busy with the launch over the past few days, training doesn’t end. Friday night was another new PR. Saturday saw my longest ride in a while, followed by 11 tough treadmill miles. Real life sometimes gets in the way of training, but sometimes you have to consider training part of real-life, too!
