What a busy week for us! The Foundation launch has now raised over $3,000 towards the implementation of our programs. What an exciting time! Our program to help autistic athletes should be rolling out in April, while others continue to develop.
Yesterday, Stefany and I met with our local Department of Recreation and local run store, 4Run3. Together we discussed our program to develop and operate run clinics for kids would look like, and how the Foundation can help. It was both eye-opening and optimistic, knowing that yes… this is going to happen!
Training is on-point lately, though a little scattered with my schedule. I only hit one early morning workout this week, and almost missed that one after carelessly spending too many hours on my phone the night before!
But Thursdays are always salvageable with the Thursday Night Ride. Attendance was at new record levels this week and the participation was incredible. So much so, I wrote Zwift this afternoon to ask for our very own Event Ride. Crossing-fingers!
