It’s not easy. It’s not fun. There’s nothing happy about an alarm ringing at 4:30. Nobody smiles. But there’s one thing you CAN do…



You can get up.



It’s been almost a constant analysis for me the past few years. Do I wake up early? I should. But I don’t wanna. It’s good for me. But it’s hard.



For months I woke up daily, Monday through Friday, at 5am. Those months were productive – with training and with real life. But they’ve fallen off. I made a few allowances, opting for more sleep.



But the fact remains – when I wake up at 5am, good things happen. I am more consistent with training. I am more productive and efficient with work. There is less time wasted watching TV or overindulging in late night foods and drinking.



So there’s only one thing left to do. It’s time to rally the 5AM Warriors and get back to work. The experiment is over. I am a better person when I get up at 5am and get things done.
