Podcast 64: AVN Stars, Awards and Camming News

Welcome back to the Webcam Startup Podcast. This month, we’re transitioning into a new setup. We’ll be going live twice monthly (2nd and last Thursday of the month) and Aerie or Nate will just be doing the recaps on the off weeks. This way we’re able to make sure the episodes drop on Thursday and add a level of organization. Now, the days when new episodes will be posted are going to be much more predictable.

Webcam Startup Podcast Update – Before we break into everything, 1st a little house keeping. As mentioned in the opening paragraph, we’ll now be going live twice a week on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Coming soon: A website dedicated for the podcast!

AVN Stars: New Adult Fanclub Platform – AVN is the big news today. The media outlet has announced MV Stars, a new fanclub platform. It’s been alleged that AVN Stars is actually more of an OnlyFans whitelabel than anything else, although there are some noticeable differences. It’s obviously in an early-state beta, as AVN themselves are completely quiet about the project and the FAQ section is currently unavailable. Despite that, the platform is live and there are performers selling on it. We’ve reached out to AVN for more information and will update whenever it’s available.

ManyVids / XBIZ Partnership – ManyVids has partnered with XBIZ for both web and digital print. MV Stars wanting to get featured in the XBIZ publication can do so by submitting blog content to ManyVids. MV Stars will also be featured as top clip producers and camming stars.

New ManyVids MV Social Features – ManyVids has announced upcoming changes to MV Social. MV Stars will have more control over their social feed, notifications, and well as changes to the tribute feature.

Lovense Interactive Toy Shows On Flirt4Free – Flirt4Free has announced that the camming site has integrated with Lovense sex toys for interactive shows on the camming site. It’s a new feature, with updates and new functionality promised in the future.

List of Voyeur Awards Winners (Phoenix Forum) – The Phoenix Forum 2019 has wrapped up and this year was the debut of the 1st Voyeur Community Awards. The Voyeur Awards recognizes the best in camming models, professionals and companies. We’ve got the complete list of winners for you!

ModelNet: Camming Site CMS (Updated 2019) – We’ve updated our ModelNet content to reflect a new business model, new features and to provide more information. ModelNet is a camming site CMS featuring the ability to feature models between the various partner site.

How To Build A Camming Site (Updated 2019) – While we updated the ModelNet information, we also revamped our main piece of content on building a camming site. We’re getting a couple more CMS added, as well as some other products such as the SkyPrivate API, so stay tuned!
