They discuss Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg's return to the lineup, John Gibson's standout performance, as well as a potentially long-term Corey Perry injury. With Perry potentially being out for a while (no official news yet), how will Anaheim's chances be impacted?

After having analyzed the night's game, they get into the recent news that Kevin Roy was sent down to the San Diego Gulls after what was an impressive showing on the big club. It begs the question: what was Roy's demotion truly about? He's been a productive player while playing a responsible game, and he certainly has more offensive upside than just about anyone in the Ducks' bottom-six. Perhaps it was a philosophical decision more than anything else.

Looking ahead, the Ducks are now a mere point out of a playoff spot, leaving one to wonder what their trade deadline strategy will be. The big trade has already happened, but could we see Bob Murray target a big fish like Evander Kane at the deadline? There's reason to believe he won't, but it also feels like a near certainty that the Ducks will be buyers at the deadline. To round out the show, some brief prospect talk is had, including some projections on Max Jones, Sam Steel, and Troy Terry's future.
