Listen Later

With the 50th anniversary of humans landing on the moon during the NASA Apollo missions, where does humanity go next? Back to the moon? To Mars? Should we risk sending humans to space or let the robots handle it?
These are a few of the issues we tackle in our conversation with Dr. Leslie Wickman.
Dr. Wickman heads up the Christian faith/science group the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA) and is also a research scientist, engineering consultant, author, speaker and athlete.
She was an engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space, where she worked on NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and International Space Station Programs, receiving commendations from NASA for her contributions and being designated as Lockheed's Corporate Astronaut and earned the nickname "Rocket Girl.”
Dr. Wickman is a Professor of Aerospace-Industrial-Mechanical Engineering at California Baptist University and is also continues to teach at Azusa Pacific University.
