The start of anything new and unfamiliar always fills us with apprehensions. We get the butterflies in our stomach at the thought of wading into uncharted waters. We cling tightly to the known and often become torn between advancing in our dreams and the uncertainty of the choice itself. It can be either the start of a college degree, moving to a whole new environment or the first time living on your own, a new relationship or a new career.
It is quite alright to be unsure and have those queasy feelings of uncertainties; it is what makes us human. But if we entertain these indecisive thoughts for long, we will be in a long state of inertia.
Do not be afraid to unlearn to learn. We are malleable and can conform our minds and hearts to treasurable experiences; just embrace the magic of it. Never underestimate your own strength. You were born for a purpose and are blessed with the power to achieve it.
We are joined by the wonderful Jane Kavata Wafula, who is from Kenya. She is currently the Head of Digital at Publicis West Africa, and is a business-savvy, resourceful communications specialist with extensive digital marketing expertise in providing solutions for specific brand problems.
