One of the easiest ways to improve your sound is proper microphone placement. Keeping the microphone close to your mouth creates a fuller, richer sound while reducing unwanted room noise.

Whether you’re using a USB microphone or a more advanced setup, understanding microphone positioning can immediately improve your recordings.

Mike also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of cloud-based recording services. While cloud recording offers convenience, internet issues can affect quality.

Local recording solutions capture audio directly on each participant’s device before uploading it, resulting in cleaner, more professional-sounding interviews.
