Berkshire County faces a declining population, a lack of affordable housing, too few good paying jobs and growing income inequality according to an extensive study conducted by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.

The need for better education, job training and lifelong learning topped the list of suggestions for providing more opportunities in the region. The foundation study, entitled A Closer Look, is examined in this edition of The Berkshire Eagle Podcast.
