Welcome back to the Camland Podcast! This is a short and quiet week this week. Terpon’s patent deal is the major news. Outside of that, we continue to revamp a lot of our camming guides and content. Recently, we redid the entire camming guide, and during the process we reviewed a lot of other main informational materials. Here’s everything that’s new in Camland and the adult industry!

What We Cover:

Terpon’s Exclusive Virtual Reality Patent Deal – Terpon has inked an exclusive deal with Virtual Immersion Technologies LLC (VIT). VIT owns US Patent No. 6,409,599 titled: “Interactive virtual reality performance theater entertainment system.” The patent has caused some issues for companies looking to provide VR camming shows. With the new agreement, Terpon partners can offer VR without fear of violation of intellectual property laws.

Terpon: VR Webcams For Camming Models – And with this new update, we went back and revamped our Terpon content. Terpon is currently in beta. We have all the information on how to get involved in the beta and we’ll be updating again once there’s global rollout and the webcams are available for everyone.

XVR: Virtual Reality (VR) Camming Site – And we’ve also got the information on XVR. XVR is a new VR camming site. The site is still very new and somewhat in beta, but it’s live. Martin Schultz, Founder of XVR, will be talking at the next Online Cam Summit.

Camgirl Tamara Wilson In 1st Drone Camming Show On BongaCams – Tomorrow, Friday the 17th, camgirl Tamara Wilson will be performing in the first ever camming show shot by a drone aircraft. The camming show will take place on BongaCams.

List of 2019 AltPorn Award Winners – The 2019 AltPorn Awards has wrapped up and the winners have been announced. The AltPorn Award Gala took place on May 11th In Hollywood, California.

ManyVids Releases MV Mag 25: Sublime Edition – The 25th issues’s theme is Sublime and features Bianca Beauchamp on the cover. As the saying goes, life is meant to be lived out loud, which all the stars on ManyVids know how to do. MyFreeCams Alternatives For Camming Models – Recently, we decided to drop MyFreeCams completely. We have not been monetizing via CrakRevenue for a while now, due to a falling out. Our coverage of all things MyFreeCams has been completely value-add to the community and not being monetized (like a lot of the stuff we do). Recently, MyFreeCams wasn’t happy about our coverage of a new FanCentro feature and asked us to take it down. Never before have we been asked to not talk about a feature that is live on a site (it’s still live, by the way). It wasn’t a hit piece and put MFC in a positive light. If they don’t want us talking positively about them, we’re just dropping them.
