This is a short behind-the-scenes update sharing a few important changes.
From here on out, the podcast uses a new, fully licensed theme song, “Salty, Sugar, Sweet,” alongside a look at what navigating music licensing, accessibility, and sustainability has been like as a fully independent creator — without industry backing or built-in infrastructure.
A few announcements since we last spoke: Amazon has announced a new Stargate television series. Separately, a YouTube channel has been launched to accompany this podcast — not as a video-first project (yet), but as an added, accessible space for conversation. This podcast has always been about starting a conversation, and that remains the goal.
The Stargate SG-1 Season 1 rewatch continues, with new recordings on the way and a relaunch shaped by further refinement — while holding on to the tone and values that have been here from the start.
If you’ve been listening for a while, thank you for sticking around. And if this is your first episode, welcome — this one offers a glimpse into how and why this podcast is being built the way it is.
