Plan A) ist also gescheitert *schnaub*!
Aber geben wir deshalb auf? NEIN!!
World Cup Final: Offer Podcast Production Team in exchange for Tickets!!
Auction winner gets all-round podcast package guaranteeing personal coverage of the World Cup Final
Rumour has it that some companies still have a few as yet unassigned tickets for the World Cup final. Rumour also has it that thousands of football fans are still hoping to get one of these elusive tickets.
Fans like Frank Tentler, for instance. Among other things, this German podcaster presents the German-language ?Podcastschau? (www.podcastschau.net) and has also produced podcasts for various companies. Now he has come up with the highly unusual idea of obtaining two of these most-wanted World Cup final tickets via an ebay auction in exchange for the services of a two-man podcast production team to cover the World Cup final in Berlin on 9 July.
You can view (and possibly bid on) this unconventional auction at:
.....
Any bidders must be in possession of two (2) official, transferable tickets for the World Cup final in Berlin on 9 July 2006 that can be issued in the names of Frank Tentler and his assistant. In exchange, the winner of the auction will receive a comprehensive audio-visual podcast documentary of the day. The package will include interviews with the host, other guests and reports all around the 2006 World Cup final. Being the spontaneous medium it is, podcasting is also just the ticket for accommodating any special requests the auction winner might have (within reason!). All FIFA rules regarding media coverage will naturally be observed.
As part of the deal, the auction winner will also get to have a say in composing and editing the various audio and audio-visual podcasts of all the episodes of the World Cup final day. In other words: an all-round, personalised podcasting package of the World Cup final.
In view of the brisk media interest the auction attracted in Germany, including a personal interview granted to a popular internet platform, Frank Tentler believes this offer to be unique. After all, who else will be able to boast their own personal online podcast documentary of this special World Cup day? The marketing effect of the podcast production would also be highly interesting as it would probably be the only one of its kind in the world.
Podcasts are digital audio and video productions that you can subscribe to free of charge, easily download from the internet using suitable programs und also listen to or view using mobile devices such as MP3 players or multimedia cell phones. By now, numerous websites provide detailed information about this new medium, the popularity of which is skyrocketing right now ? as shown by a recent podcast featuring Germany?s Chancellor, Angela Merkel. Next to thousands of private providers, more and more companies are also beginning to use podcasting for marketing purposes.

Das wollen wir doch mal sehen!!!
