The Labre Ministry for the Homeless fills a gap that exists in our treatment of the homeless: recognizing them as people. The homeless are people with their own personalities, likes, dislikes, and backgrounds. They need relationships as much as they need food or shelter. Through bringing them meals every Sunday, Labre is able to build relationships with those they serve. The focus is never on the food; it's the people.
