Welcome, welcome to PodGuide, a bite-sized dose of pod knowledge from me, Ginni Media’s Ginni-in-Chief.
Today, I’ve got some exciting news from everyone’s favorite royal expats: It seems Meghan, Duchess of Sussex—formerly known as Meghan Markle—is gearing up to begin her very own podcast this summer.
In preparation for the launch, Meghan and husband Prince Harry founded their own production company, Archewell Audio, and signed a $25 million deal with Spotify a little over a year ago.
While the topic of the show is still underwraps, it’s probably safe to assume that Meghan will use the platform to further her advocacy for causes near and dear to her heart like the promotion of gender equality and social justice reforms.
Though we commend Meghan for using her voice to create change and spread awareness, we’d love for her to cover a few other pressing questions like:
Hey, Meghan, give us a call if you ever run out of episode ideas—we’re always available for a brainstorming sesh!
Well, that does it for this week’s episode of PodGuide. Tune in next week for another factoid… from the depths of podcasting!
