A strong proponent of the metamodern school of thought, Daniel Görtz wrote his thesis on "Ethnified police practices" in 2015. 

He is among other things managing his site "Metamoderna", and arranging the upcoming Metamodern Arts Festival in Ukraine (Sept 27-29, 2019).
