As I mentioned in one of my podcast recordings, it is hard and somewhat uncomfortable for humans to permit God to do his will.

When this prayer point was dropped on my spirit as the first on the list for the prayers we had to do for 2021, I was a bit displeased.

Even if I had this prayer point written down as something I would share, I found myself changing the prayer point to Lord, let your kingdom come.

The unexplainable happened when I was recording on the 2nd of December. Even if I had all five prayer points written, I used Lord, let your will be done instead of what I wanted to say.

I realized I shot myself in the foot when I started the explanation. Even if it was against my will to use this prayer point dropped on my spirit, God let his will prevail.

I am one who has always endeavored to give Jesus the wheel. Why was I taken aback to ask for his will to be done? Regardless, Jesus took the will of my hands and let the will of the father be done.

Prayer Points for 2021

1. Mighty God, we ask for your will to be done now and all through 2021, in Jesus’ name. (Matthew 6:10).

2. Our Father in Heaven, we ask for the grace to make better decisions now and all through 2021, in Jesus' name (2 Corinthians 6:14).

3. Most high God, be our guide and be my protector now and throughout 2021, in Jesus' name. (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

4. Creator of Heaven and Earth, baptize me with your wisdom, in Jesus’ name (Proverbs 29:11, Proverbs 1:7).

5. There shall be no weeping in my household, in the name of Jesus (Exodus 12).
