This week, a lot of conversations and topics have come across my desk regarding the state of Podcasting.

Now I could sit here and deliver a US Presendential style SOTU speech

But I can’t really convey throwing sheets of paper up in the air and swivelling around in my chair in audio so we’ll leave that for the video version….

In this week’s pod review, let’s talk about podcasting.

I know I know. Ain’t that obvious? What’s come across my desk this week is this concept: podcasting has been so focused on growing their shows, repurposing their content, and spreading their message far and wide that it can be quite easy to forget why we started the podcast in the first place. So now the focus is on everything but the podcast. IS your pod your priority? Are you just podding along?

My friends, podcasting is magic. It’s audio Netflix. It’s a place of connection, entertainment and conversation. Start there and even though its’ easy to lose focus, let’s all find our way back home to podcasts.
