It’s awesome to see the community be such a creative bunch and be able to band together behind an ambitious project such as ElDewrito. As quickly as it rose to popularity, Microsoft stepped in to protect the code by which the mod uses. The good news to this story is that the ElDewrito team isn’t facing legal actions and were just asked to remove any game code and halt any further development on the mod. While this may not be the outcome the community wanted for this mod, it has shed some light on the community’s strong desire to have an updated Halo experience on PC.
