Can government change quickly enough to utilize the power of AI for control and manipulation?

The practice of using regulatory capture to consolidate power may go down the drain with governments' losing power.

The scope of the changes that AI induces

Are ethics imposed by society or are they immutable natural laws like gravity? If ethics are natural laws, then AI — with intelligence not skewed by physical and personal desires — will conclude that it is not a good idea to act unethically.

People who know what they want will end up on top.

AI doctors and AI therapists -- AI is way better than the average doctor or therapist, but nowhere near as good as a great one.
