Catherine is also a frequent podcast and radio guest with appearances on NPR, Ryan Holiday’s Daily Stoic podcast, Lifehacker’s Upgrade, Janet Varney’s AV Club, and countless comedy podcasts. She also happens to be a close friend of Liz's and lives right here in RVA.

Her first book, Poe for Your Problems: Uncommon Advice from History’s Least Likely Self-Help Guru, was published by Hachette in 2021. In 2022, it became a finalist for the Library of Virginia’s People’s Choice Award, and it won the International Poe Festival’s Saturday “Visiter” Award.
