In this Tiny Awakening, I share a spoken word poem I wrote back in 2019. For those who don’t know I won a writing competition about the historical/biological evolution of humans as we migrated outside of Africa (The Original Journeys of Humanity) in 2013. Really this is just the spoken word “I’m an activist now” version of that original essay.
