2021 overnight broke 

With #fresh #resolutions

To ending pollution 

I promised my heart 

Accompanied by a stray fart 

Eliciting giggles 

Leading to trickles 

As I smile at the new year 

I also laugh with a salty tear 

Aging gracefully 

Ha, I’d rather live fully
