Donney Rose is a poet, teaching artist, essayist, and community advocate based in the D.C. Metro Area (Hyattsville, MD) and born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA.
He is a 2018-2019 Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Fellow. He currently serves as the Chief Content Editor at The North Star Media Group, a liberation-oriented media outlet.
