Marte: Welcome to Mars

Poetry Reading: Tulips by Sylvia Plath

Listen Later

Welcome to another poetry reading on Mars! It has always made me sad (and yes, a little bit bitter) that female writers aren't quite recognized as most writers. This month we continue to focus on the poems of Sylvia Plath. Read by yours truly, here's a poem for your morning exercise or evening blues.

Poetry Reading on WEDNESDAYS. See you next week!

POET OF THE MONTH

Who is Sylvia Plath? An American writer who is credited for the advancement of 'confessional poetry'. She is best known for the 'Bell Jar' and 'Ariel'. There is just something about 'Tulips' that makes you want to write. It's quite fascinating so I hope you'll be fascinated as well.
